:D Smiling Ji Dan Gao 鸡蛋糕

Recipe:

300 g Plain Flour
300 g Castor Sugar
6 Eggs

Procedure:
1. Beat egg & sugar till the batter turn white & fluffy.
2. Sieve flour and add in to the batter, mix well.
4. Optional: Add any food colouring or flavour according to your preference.
3. Spoon the batter into baking case up to 1 cm from the edge.
4. Sprinkle some castor sugar on top of the batter marking a cross symbol.
5. Steam on high heat for 25 mins.

My first batch of Ji Dan Gao did not "SMILE".
I guess its because I was too anxious thati took a little peep within the first 10 mins.
